Monday Morning coming down.

Evan V. Of Re Cycles in Richmond.

Spring is slowly creeping into New York, which is welcomed after a long winter. I just got back here after a trek down south below the mason-dixon got a little mixed up. Here are a few pictures of Some of the guys from Richmond, enjoying some less cold, less rainy weather… Although its still hit and miss for a little while longer. I hauled my Motobike down south to take a small trip after cycle slaughterama, which consisted of the first 300 miles through a gnarley rainstorm. I intended on coming all the way back to NY, but the weather was not on my side, and I got pretty frigging sick. Adding to my adventure, i neglected this golden rule- “always check shifter and kick starts bolts to make sure they are tight. They notoriously loosen up and fall off at the wrong time.” My shifter wobbled off on the hi-way, leaving me stranded with no ammenities. If I had some vice grips I might have made it… 600 some odd miles, and I ended up stranded at Kings Dominion Amusement. Stoked. Any rate, Lots of good stuff going on this week, keep posted…. Thanks for checking in.

Mike, at the bike lot. Christian from the Beach... Mike, aka Christian again. Roadside assistance This is not a suitable fix for a broken shifter.... New FBM beach towel?

Kie Ashworth, Australian FBM champ, sent over this Edit and a few pics, so here they are. Stoked. Kie Rules. Mickey also sent up a couple of pics. I do believe Mickey does not give a shit, and I like that about him. He is also a serious badass, and works at a motorcycle salvage yard part time to pay his rent. He put together a new howler this week, went to a comp at the Infamous Buck Nutty’s skate ranch, and got 2nd. Yeah boyeeee! I got to ride some bikes this weekend with Kelly Baker and the Big job. Kelly is a hoot, and I think it says something about a rider who’s age has a higher number that the temperature he is riding in. Big Job is another Number altogether, he’s the batshit crazy guy from the Ghetto comps, and He LOVES riding, he has 2 teenage sons that ride, is even older than Kelly (they grew up riding together), and he is a badass for sure. Here’s a couple Big job stories for you- He was n the Army for a long time, and at one point was a sargeant, went to Korea, and came back a private, from too many fights, He was a hardcase barknuckle boxer over there, and has even entered tuff man comps. He used to Roll with a 1% Motorcycle Club on a chopped out Triumph, and built a ratty skatepark in his back yard so his kids would have some place to ride. He has tons of stories, and a Black Crows tattoo that says “Hard to Handle”. The best story though is kelly getting him with the meatspin prank… So bad.

Stoked on riding outdoors in Feb. even though it's friggin freezing. Red Gold and Green.... Bloodclot! Kie, with the biggest beer he has ever drank... Kie again... he shreds. Mickey Marshal, aka memmy, is collecting some of the most outrageous tattoos yet... Memmy's fridge! Memmy's new Howler. He is Stoked on this bike. Smith to hard 180 out? no just an old and cold dude at the public park...the Only good thing about this pic is how much fun I had. The Big Job!
