Club Homeboy

These are our first bars in almost 2 years, good stuff...worth the wait.

It’s been a bit since we’ve had a report from FBM Headquarters. Mainly due to a week long case of Asian bird flu, and then another week of being bed ridden due to old age. There’s been lots of shipping, lots of receiving, lots of welding and next to nothing in the way of heat. Two heaters, lots of duct work, feet upon feet of gas pipe, still no warm winds a blowin’. I’ll believe it when I see it.

Cold temps aside, things are hot around FBM this winter so far.

And now a word from our very own John Corts:

This is custom FBM frame that i built around 3 months ago. Its has a 20 3/4 toptube length, 75 degree heatube, 71 degree seatube, 11.5/8 bottom bracket height, and 13.3/8 slammed backend length. The toptube is 1.3/8 supertherm, the downtube 1 1/2double butted heat treated, chainstays 7/8 x .035, seatstays 3/4 x .035 with a mid bottom bracket and integrated headtube with gyro tab holes, and weighs about 4.5 lbs.

Another production run of '09 completes arrived a couple weeks ago, we've got a couple models left, shops hit us up before they're gone in a minute. John Lee suited up for the cold, cold task of hubguard packaging. The welder dudes have been firing out frames and VegPower tanks on the regular all while wearing up to 10 layers of clothing. Mike Corts tumbling the crap out of tubes. He likes to do things until they crap. King Kong's chicken coop. It seems likely this could be where I picked up the bird flu. Howler drops with minimal cut outs. New beanies are in, Luchadore masks are not, unfortunately.
