The FBM Crew!

The FBM Crew, The whole FBM thing, the bike company, the lifestyle, its all so Important to me, and sometimes I just get so wrapped up in how we exist within the BMX industry, the market, our struggles in a tough economy, all that bullshit, I sometimes forget how amazing each element of it really is.
As a group, the riders, the welders, the dudes behind the scenes, its such a shift from other entities within our scene, the greater BMX community, and hearing Joby Speak about it in his movie this week, really brought me back home.
FBM isn’t a cast of well paid celebrities, nor is it a gang of anti heroes, seething in a gutter, we are all just regular dudes, of modest means, dedicated to a simple existence thats framed in by 3 meaningful letters, FBM! We just wanna ride our bikes, live our lives, be happy, and enjoy our own version of freedom.
Granted some of us might look funny, and be totally fine with having dirty clothes, shitty cars, small paychecks, and living on the low brow side of the fence… But it’s truly amazing how much each and every part of FBM gives, to make it that much better, from long hours on the road, behind a computer or a welding mask, to risking life and limb on roof drops, 30 footers or handrails, its all as real and genuine an effort as anything I know. It’s not for the sake of FBM, it’s just how these dudes are, we are just lucky to have a shared viewpoint, and a common meeting ground, together. These dudes ARE FBM, and I just wanted to take a second to say thank you to the people that make it more than just a brand in a catalog, or a product at a bike shop… Thanks to all of our friends, supporters, and everyone in-between!
