Last January, John lee took a spill on his BMX, landing him in a trauma unit with severe head and face injuries, unable to work, and racking up serious medical bills, in almost no time, the BMX community started to come together to help John Lee.

An integral element to what FBM is, and a hugely positive influence in BMX overall, John Lee has a long history earning him the respect from riders everywhere, and the title “the nicest dude in BMX” as he is referred to by his friends…

This past weekend, at his hometown track in Shoreham Long Island, Keith Terra, Tedd Nelson, Keith Mulligan, Rich Soper, Jeff Allen, Joe Doherty and friends organized a Jam in John’s name, with a silent auction, raffles, races, events and more, including pit bikes, sidehacks, big smiles and more!

Hundreds of riders, transcending different scenes, regions, and generations all joined together for an afternoon of fun in the community spirit to help a friend, raise money, and show emotional support for a friend, a fellow BMXer on the mend. The turnout was stunning, and the PMA is still very high…

Too Many People to thank, you know who you are, stay stoked!
