30 Day Warranty against
Manufacturing Defects
(see definition below)
If you buy an FBM frame with a manufacturing defect,
FBM will replace this frame if the warranty department
is contacted within 30 days of purchase of the frame.
Detecting the manufacturing defect could occur prior
to assembling you frame or while riding the frame during
the first 30 days, but it is in this first 30 days that
manufacturing defects must be found for a free replacement.
After the first 30 days any defects in workmanship will
not be covered by the warranty.
Only available to the original owner with a proof of
purchase.
• Before assembling your new FBM frame, take
some time to inspect it closely. If you notice anything
that doesn’t seem correct, call the FBM warranty
department immediately. Discuss the problem with the
warranty department and if it seems like there is a
defect send the frame and your proof of purchase to
the FBM warranty department. When we receive the frame
we will inspect it and if there is a manufacturing defect,
we will replace your frame at no charge.
• If you notice anything that doesn’t seem
correct during assembly of your FBM frame or after the
frame is assembled and you have begun riding it, call
the FBM warranty department immediately. Do not try
to fix the problem in any way. Any further damage caused
to the frame while trying to repair it will not be covered
by the warranty. Discuss the problem with the warranty
department and if it seems like there is a defect send
the frame and your proof of purchase to the FBM warranty
department. When we receive the frame we will inspect
it and if there is a manufacturing defect, we will replace
your frame at no charge.
6 Month Warranty against
Breakage
If during the first 6 months after the purchase of your
FBM frame it breaks, you will have the option of purchasing
a replacement frame at a reduced price. Frames that
have been intentionally damaged will not be covered.
Only available to the original owner with a proof of
purchase.
• Call the FBM warranty department and notify
them that you will be sending in your damaged frame.
Then send your FBM frame along with your proof of purchase
to the FBM warranty department. FBM will then contact
you regarding your replacement and payment options.
Definitions:
• “Proof of purchase”
- A copy of the original sales receipt, or a copy of
a completely filled out warranty card if the original
card and a copy of the original sales receipt was mailed
back to FBM within 30 days of the original purchase.
If you can’t find your warranty card or sales
receipt, you will need to contact the retail dealer
where you purchased the frame and get a copy of your
original sales receipt.
• “Manufacturing Defect”
– Examples are a crooked brake mount, a missing
weld, or an improperly machined headtube. These and
similar problems are all things that you can notice
while inspecting and assembling your frame.
FBM frames are built in house, and handcrafted
by the best. We stand proudly behind our products, but
also realize that nothing lasts forever, especially with
the level of riding these days. We suggest you choose
a frame that is designed for the type of riding you'll
be doing, and that you have fun every day.
