Where are you from?
St. Louis till about 11, then Little Rock till about
20, and then all over the place
What are some of your interests outside of BMX?
I didn't know there was more to life than BMX
Influences?
Tony Carruth, Uncle Tim, Diet
For A New America, Billie Latzer. Hell I don't know who
or what has influenced me.
What can you tell us about your job?
My job is real fucking work, usually in shitty conditions
and with a very small amount of appreciation from your average kid
who rides BMX. I build things too small or too big depending on who
you are........I build ramps for a living.
How did you start Riding?
saw Dave Voelker, then saw Tony Carruth, then I
got general, R.L. Osborn hustler for Christmas
Who do you ride with?
By myself, the dude, Joe, Taj, whoever is around
when I am home and not working.
Top 5 current favorite riders?
I don't know, today I saw Taj, Cordona, Chase, Sergio,
and K.P. ride. That was cool.
Top 5 all time favorite riders?
Don’t know that one either, but one of them
would be Brian Yeagle and Aaron Huff also.
What music are you into lately?
explosions in the sky, jack johonson, pelican, portals,
dead prez, evens
Where do you ride?
Lately this pool near my house, flat ledge near
my house, T-1 ramp-it's near my house.
What are some of your favorite places to visit?
home, Malaga, Iceland, Prague, south of France,
Montreal, NYC, Little Rock.
What are some of your all time favorite bands?
Way too broad of a question, probably a bunch of
bands I grew up seeing in little rock, kinda like Chris Rock said.
Favorite Videos?
I don't really watch videos anymore. It seems like
all the same crap. If I had to pick favorites, Trash, Head First,
Dorkin videos, Anthem was pretty good.
What can you tell us about building parks all over
the world?
I still haven't been to Asia, South America, Australia
or Africa yet so I haven't been that many places, but the inside
of warehouse looks about the same anywhere.
What are some of your favorite spots you have built?
T-1 ramp, the unit, pallet loop.
What gets you stoked?
Watching someone ride a place I built, that rides
the way we talked about while building it. Examples.....Cardona in
Joplin (before they tore it apart and ruined it), Joe, Taj, chase,
Cardona at T-1.
Worst Injury?
Probably the broken leg, or staph infection, or
the staph infection while I had the broken leg. thanks for calling
Most recent injury?
Nine stitches in palm building a ramp, pretty awesome.
Can you tell us a Crazy Hallman story?
He can do anything. I saw him catch a snake while
designing a web site while making bamboo shelves.
What kind of riding do you enjoy most?
Bike riding
Favorite Movies?
Any that make me forget I will be building bowl
corners for the next 4 months.
Most Fun place you have ridden?
The pool by my house, T-1, the air conditioner half
pipe in Barcelona, Livingston, Pipa, Glory, Kanis, Marseille, Little
Rock, peddling down the street in Austin, or anywhere.
What can you tell us about Dave Harrison?
I have known him for over 13 years now, every sponsor
I have ever had is because of him. He once drug my helmet on along
the freeway, he used to have a chevron card, with no chevrons in
the state. He lives in Binghamton
